Sofia has very good chemistry with MD-5 and shows excitement towards being able to hang out with her friends while also messing with them at times. AppearanceSofia is a young Caucasian woman with an average build, and is roughly Tari's height. Her Personality is inspired by a Canary which she mentions as her code name while Lamar and Masa are preparing for the Hidden Heroes Tournament She has blonde hair, greenish blue eyes and black rounded eyebrows. Her hair is about the length of her head and is shaven to a buzz cut on the left. Her attire consists of welding goggles, a silver nose ring, and a green and black jacket that connects to her hands with an atomic whirl on each side. Her jacket is always open near her chest area, revealing a white deep o-neck undershirt. She wears two brown belts, one of which is more standard with a small silver belt buckle, while the other has some bags on it. PersonalityMuch like the other members of MD-5, Sofia follows a personality stereotype to some degree, as she could be described as being a computer geek. She shows high interest in mods and hacks and has far more knowledge about technology than any other major character, besides Sheridan. She seems quite socially awkward and insecure, much like Tari, but tries to hide it more. Sofia does not appear to be a spiteful person, as she holds no hard feelings toward Tari after discovering her involvement with Project Blue, this is seen at the start of the next season when she prioritises getting into contact with Tari to free her from TAS. Corp's hold on her. Even when Lucks reveals that Tari is the A.I. created by Dr. Sheridan — the same A.I. intended for testing and uploading into Lucinia. Sofia reassures Tari that they are still friends. However, Sofia is capable of holding grudges, as evidenced by her anger towards Sheridan for his actions involving Lucinia, especially after witnessing Lucinia under his control. HistoryShe was stated to be raised by Lucinia and also helped Marco with the Luminous Gaming hack at some point as Marco helped Sofia out with the trouble she had with the Rolling Cartridge gang. She also said that at one point she quit trying to cut off Meta Runner arms as a job for Marco indicating that her relationship to Marco was more business-oriented. At some point in time she got information that Lucinia was missing and suspected Lucks was behind it so she joined up with MD-5 to take down TASCorp. Season 1Sofia first appeared to greet and introduce herself to Tari, Theo, and Lamar after Lamar has rescued Tari from Lucks after she was working on Masa’s arm. She was excited to see them make it out alright and wanted to see how Tari and Theo worked, though she refrains from running tests on them due to her moral standing and Lamar telling her about what happened to Tari back at the speedrunning competition. She and Lamar then wanted Tari and Theo to join and talk about it, but before Tari and Theo could agree Masa shows up to say they need to prove themselves. This causes Sofia to be a bit annoyed calling Masa stubborn though just accepted it as Masa gave Tari a controller to challenge him as to which Tari accepted. The next moment Masa and Tari sat down to have a Battle Blaze challenge Sofia showed up to give a starting announcement about Battle Blaze as she then did the count down to have them both play. She expressed concern as Tari was getting demolished a lot by Masa in the game. And after some point as Masa was about to leave and Tari expressed frustration Sofia looked at Tari’s arm. After going and configuring Tari’s arm she sees the Project Blue crest and comments how unique it is to which she then presses on it which causes Tari to warp into the game. As Tari warps into the game and Masa goes back to playing the game Sofia goes back to commenting the game and to give Tari a bit of guidance. After the game was done Theo was glitching out as to which MD-5 responded with concern to it as they hurried to put Theo back into the cartridge. Though that failed, as Theo and Tari were booted out of the game to which Lamar and Masa were a bit puzzled as well as to what happened to which Sofia replied by saying the issue was that the game already had a Theo which booted out the Theo that Tari warped out back at the arena. So Sofia and the others then bring up Operation Silent Demon as to which Lamar makes a fuss about it but in the end they all sleep towards the next day as to discuss what Silent Demon is to Tari. Towards the next day as Lamar, Tari, and Theo were eating, Sofia shows up alongside Masa to say good morning to everyone. She then proceeds to shock Tari and the others by bringing up a holographic field as she gains their attention. And then the explanation of Operation Silent Demon starts as Sofia explains in tandem with the others. As soon as the explanation is over Sofia tells Tari the game that will be played for Silent Demon to work and telling her about the glitch. As to which Lamar responds with annoyance but goes to train with them anyways as they all go to the training room to start playing Tempest. In No Clip it is shown that Sofia has control over the game as the hacker and programmer for Tempest as she announces to Tari what she has to do as she guides Tari. As Tari falls off the cliff Sofia types into the game to alter Tari’s trajectory so that she can cause the glitch. After Tari does the glitch with Sofia’s help, Sofia encourages her to try again as to which a massive training montage happens with Tari as Sofia is chilling. Tari expresses frustration as she tries one more time to do the glitch by herself as to which she becomes successful as to which Tari wakes up and expresses joy upon doing it. Sofia goes on over to congratulate Tari as Masa then tells Tari to keep on practicing and that she has more to do for her training. This causes Sofia to give Tari words of encouragement in order to keep Tari’s spirits up as to which they train for a while until the big event. In One Shot and the The Run Sofia has apparently pulled a lot of strings to ensure that Lamar, Masa, Tari, and Theo could all enter in as competitors without Lucks knowing as throughout the game she is on her computer on the ready to get the data from TASCorp servers as soon as Tari does the glitch. As soon as the glitch from Tari happens she was hard at work to download and store the data on her laptop and along with her phone as well too. However, in Shutdown she has pressed as Lucks has Masa hostage and was about to shoot Masa’s head so she turned herself in and submitted defeat to Lucks. She then gives the laptop to Lucks as she is crying for Masa to be spared as to which Lucks keeps his word. Then it was later revealed that Sofia just really wanted to know what happened to Lucinia Porter who is her sister as to which Belle shows up to show her what happened to Lucinia. This causes Sofia to break down even more even wondering why it even happened. She has lost all will and especially after seeing Theo disappear and be put into a comatose state she just cries as she was about to be taken to the holding cell. That is until Tari makes a deal with Lucks as to which causes Tari to have to part with Sofia and her friends as they say goodbye to each other in a heart breaking way. It is shown that the rest of MD-5 was being escorted out back to their hideout as along the way Sofia sees Belle with her phone as she looks and wanted to say something but the TASGuard pushed her along and she had to go back to the hideout. Season 2After 6 months, Sofia pulls up by an alleyway alongside with Lamar as they go through the rough parts of Silica in order to find Masa. As they wander about they find Masa as both Lamar and Sofia try to go to talk to him but Masa just wanted to leave. This causes Sofia to be frustrated to call Masa back and she does so by also telling him that not all hope is lost there. By not all hope is lost she refers that her phone still has the data and was not wiped out. Though the issue was that it was with Belle which means they need to devise a plan to get it. So her and Lamar go back to Masa’s rented apartment space in Firewall as they start discussing the plan. The three of them start talking about the plan as the annoying neighbor kept on pestering but stopped as he saw Sofia and Lamar. So both Lamar and Sofia manages to talk about the plan and also convince Masa to be on in it as well too. As to which they devise their first part of the plan which is to get Masa a new arm to which Sofia tells him a way to get one even if they are low on cash. So after some time they decide to go to the Rustworks as shown in Unreal Engines as Sofia then greets and talks with Marco. As soon as Masa and Lamar come in Marco was a bit dismissive as Sofia starts talking to Marco about needing to enter in the tournament as to which Marco dismissed her since she does not have an entry fee to pay. However as Lamar gave the entry fee for Marco he then accepted all three to be able to enter into the tournament. Sofia then gets to be on the sidelines as she then cheers on for Lamar and Masa. As the match goes on she mainly just watches until Masa and Lamar get the win there. Marco then gets furious for suspecting Masa for cheating as he was about to grill Masa. Though Sofia went up to tell Marco to just not be sticker about it and that no special treatment at all. As to which this causes Marco to just take the loss and let the three of them go there. In the car the three of Sofia, Lamar, and Masa all breathe a sigh of relief as they are able to have the parts to build a meta runner arm for Masa as to which they drive back to Masa’s apartment. Back in Masa’s apartment it is shown that his arm has finally finished being built there within Heart to Heart. Sofia then does the finishing touches as she gives Masa the okay there to use his arm. She then joins in on the conversation with Masa as to how to take down TASCorp and rescue Tari. After some time as Lamar has picked up the Pocket Gakusei notification and then talks to Tari, Sofia starts to listen in and also join in on the conversation alongside Lamar there. After Masa forgives Tari Lamar pulls up some mobile devices as Sofia happily makes an account named GENKIBUNNY3 as she becomes the second one to join into the classroom there. As soon as Masa joins they then get to talking about the plan with Tari. Though as Tari gets forced out of the game Sofia gets worried pretty much there alongside Lamar but remains much calmer than him. She then gets relieved that Tari was able to get back on but also a bit shocked to hear she was talking with Belle along with the others. Then after talking it out she then warms up to the idea of having Belle join in on the plan there. That leads into Tari convincing Masa to accept her as to which everyone accepts Belle onto the team as they all then listen in onto the plan for the show match of Evelyn and Tari. On the day of the show match as shown in Hack and Slash through various methods it shows that Sofia was able to hack in and gain access to Horizon Stadium’s security as she starts to give her teammates the signal in order to proceed especially for the cartridge switch there. And then as the game Hidden Heroes starts she also starts the countdown as she waits for the data to completely transfer from her phone. Throughout the game she keeps a careful watch communicating with Sofia just in case. As the game goes on Tari eventually gets ratted out by Evelyn as she tells Lucks. This causes Lucks to start to try to take out Lamar and Masa within the crowd as to which they ask Sofia for help there. Sofia then helps out by hijacking a message bot and Lucks’ comms as she forces him to pick up. As Lucks picks up Sofia threatens him by telling him about all the shady stuff he has done there and that if he goes any further Sofia will ruin him right then and there. So she tells Lucks to stand at the center and wave at the audience as she then announces to the audience to give it up for Lucks for bringing them this show today. This raises the stakes for the show match as eventually it ends with Tari winning and she was able to have the data transferred to the cartridge. As to which she then starts to get out from where she was as she then waits at the specific spot and time for Tari and the others to come to her there. A fair amount of time passes as she finally gets greeted by Lamar’s car as she talks to Lamar about how it went as then she sees Tari and gets excited as she goes up to hug her after a long 6 months of being away from her. Sofia asks about the cartridge and was also excited to see it as she asks to give it to her so that she can leak the information of TASCorp to ruin Lucks. But Tari however says that it is not a good idea since Theo, Masa, and Belle are hostage now under Lucks. Masa, Theo, and Belle being hostage frustrates Sofia as she despairs and is unsure as to what to do now as she just feels like that they are at an impasse now. However as Sofia despairs along with Lamar Tari formulates a plan as she then tells Sofia and Lamar about it as she gives them hope. Then in Nightmare Mode Sofia contacts Lucks on the phone as she tries to bargain and threaten Lucks but Lucks intercepts and captures her as he yanks the cartridge away from her and looks at Sofia with intense and angry eyes. Sofia looks at him with confident eyes as well too and sure enough as the cartridge shows that there is no data from his servers there Sofia smirks and gets cocky. As Lucks panics and gets desperate Sofia starts to mock Lucks as she is cocky as Lucks gets extremely furious and throws her into where Masa and Belle was held. After a friendly reunion chat with Masa and Belle she then proceeds to still mock Lucks as she is getting taken around by him with the others as he tries to reach towards TASCorp as fast as he can. During in the middle of the van ride Tari has apparently won against Evelyn and cleared the game which then causes Lucks to panic as he does not know what to do now. As soon as his car crashed he gets out and takes Masa out as Sofia alongside Belle expressed concern as Masa was being roughly handled. Lucks threatens everyone as Sofia looked really worried there until the entire TASCorp data leaks there. To which Masa and Lucks fights and it ends with Masa getting the gun allowing Belle and Sofia to run out and go over to Lamar’s and Tari’s side there. Sofia goes towards Lamar to make sure he is alright after passing out from the shock of the car crash. As she is taking care of Lamar there Lucks then starts to talk about what really happened with Project Blue there as he drops a lot of information for everyone as when he said Lucinia is still alive Sofia was confused and intrigued as to how she can be alive there. This causes her to listen to Lucks whole story as he reveals that Tari is an AI in an artificial organic body. Processing the information Sofia goes in full support for Tari as she does not get swayed by Lucks words about reviving Lucinia. Though as they are having a heartfelt moment the sound of the cops startle everyone as she starts to try to run away with the others. However Masa stays behind a bit contemplating whether he should pull the trigger. To which she and everyone convince him to not pull the trigger as she also breathes a sigh of relief there. The relief was short lived as Masa’s arm gets hacked by Sheridan as he then pulls the trigger and shoots Lucks as he plops on over to the ground. This causes everyone especially Sofia to be shocked as she could not believe that Masa shot Lucks. Everyone is panicking as they do not know what to do as Tari wants to help Masa and the others need to run away from the police. In the end Sofia and Theo get a head start to run away as Tari and Lamar follow afterwards. As they are trying to escape Sofia and the others then run into Marco who says he will give them a ride as to which Sofia and the others are just standing there in shock. Season 3Exactly one week later, Sofia, along with Tari, Lamar, and Theo are imprisoned in Marco's jail cell. Marco goes up to the jail cell and brings them out in order to figure out what to do with them. After negotiations, it was agreed that Sofia alongside Tari, Lamar, and Theo go to play Turbo Crash 9 against Marco in order to make up for the cheating that Masa did. As soon as they were about to play together to face Marco there seemed to be a problem with the warp as Tari was not in the game. This causes Sofia to ask Marco for her computer back as she then opens a backdoor back to her computer. However, it was only Theo who came back into the portal as Tari ended up in Skybreakers. Theo tells Sofia and the others about the issue at hand and what happened with Tari. Sofia, Lamar, Theo, and Marco then triangulate where Tari could be as they then go to help Tari in Skybreakers. As they rescue Tari from Skybreakers, Sofia spectates by the computer giving Tari, Lamar, Theo, and Marco guidance. In Dead On Arrival, Sofia still mainly spectates and watches over the others as they get to Vagabond's Landing. When Lucinia however appeared Sofia was very shocked to see what has happened to her sister. Sofia panics over her sister attacking Tari as her voice manages to get Lucinia to have senses back for a moment before Tari slices Lucinia to get some of her fragments back. This causes Tari to have a fighting chance of escaping, when Tari did escape with the others Sofia congratulated Tari and the rest for being able to escape from Evelyn and Lucinia's onslaught. By the time of Death Warp, when Tari opens the chest that Theo fished out where the treasure happened to be a Sherbucks Coffee Cup, Sofia gets excited at finding a lead to Sheridan but she also gets furious at how Sheridan turned her sister into an emotionless assassin. As Tari and her gang follow the trail through to ScrapBeard's fortress and trek through the dungeon Sofia still spectates though at one point in time screenshots a posse of mermen posing. After some time as Tari and the others have reached the boss named Angler, Sofia detects that Evelyn and Lucinia have entered into the fortress. Lamar goes to distract Evelyn and Lucinia as Tari is to execute the glitch as to which after some time Tari succeeds but Lamar disappears to somewhere as Evelyn glitches him out. It turns out in reality he was forcefully warped as Sofia becomes worried as she checks Lamar's condition as she asks for help to stabilize his condition. Within Global Testfire, Sofia still checks out Lamar's condition alongside with Marco. When Tari asks Sofia if Lamar is alright, Sofia responds to Tari saying that Lamar's meta runner arm is overloaded way past its safety threshold. Sofia gets very concerned over Lamar as she still looks over after him. Then she gets a news alert from her computer and Sofia starts to check it out. While checking out the news she starts to get very concerned as it was Sheridan broadcasting the news of himself and the announcement of the global warp program. She checks out more of it as when she sees the effects of the global warp program she gets even more mortified. Once the news of what Sheridan has done is over, Tari and Theo find the backdoor to Sheridan's server along with Marco who just joined back in to which Sofia congratulates Tari but also tells her how the situation got worse by the global warp program Sheridan instated. Sofia then traces the backdoor program to figure out Sheridan's location. As Sofia is tracing the program to Sheridan's backdoor Evelyn then shows up as Sofia gets frustrated. Sofia watches the fight happen between Tari's and Evelyn's team as she looks at the player statuses throughout the match in Skybreakers. However, after Marco got taken out of the match and heads for Sheridan's location Sofia complains to Marco. Sofia is forced to stay put as Marco makes his way to Sheridan's hideout. After Tari defeats Evelyn Sofia gets proud of Tari as she says that she needs to take Lucinia into the portal to Sheridan's server. In The End, Sofia helps out Tari in a bind by getting on her computer to help Tari in Sheridan's server. She fights against Sheridan's onslaught of buffs he gives to Lucinia as she helps Tari out immensely. After Tari and Sofia snag victory from Sheridan, Tari says goodbye to Sofia as she is left sad as everyone got returned to their bodies. Later, she is seen grieving for Tari as she reunites with her sister and the others. She returns back to the old MD5 hideout as she gives her sister a tour excitedly as they put up the items to remember Tari and Theo.
